The annual Sundance Film Festival in Park City and environs is just around the corner in January, and now film buffs can plan what films to see. The festival announced its 2013 lineup over several days last week.

Some of the films to be featured in high-profile Premieres programs (entries do not compete for festival prizes) are the Steve Jobs biopic “jOBS” with Ashton Kutcher, the psychological thriller “Stoker” from Korean director Park Chan-Wook and the documentaries “History of the Eagles Part 1″ (a chronicle of the “Hotel California” rockers) and “The World According to Dick Cheney.”

On the competition side, the festival will feature the likes of “Austenland” (adapted from the novel by Shannon Hale), “The Lifeguard” (about a disenchanted journalist who becomes a lifeguard) and “The Spectacular Now” (two crazy kids in love) among dramatic films. Competition documentaries include “After Tiller” (threats to abortion doctors), “God Loves Uganda” (Christian missionaries in Africa) and “Manhunt: The Search for Osama Bin Laden.”
