Macworld Recap: A Fuel Cell, a BowBlade, and Ashton, Oh My ...

For veteran Apple fans, Macworld/iWorld 2013 is a little bit like visiting your old elementary school. You know, how everything just seems kind of small, and you wonder if you grew or if it shrank, and the answer might be a little bit of both.

Apple itself may not need a once-a-year convergence of fans like this — that’s obvious when you notice how crowded every single Apple Store is from opening until closing. But for companies of all sizes in the crowded accessories space, and especially for app developers, Macworld is still a really fun chance to get eyes on your product and show the enthusiast iFans just how excited you are too.

Ashton Kutcher and Josh Gad on the main stage, talking about playing Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in jOBS.

So after two days of wandering from booth to booth, in the end it didn’t matter much that Macworld is a smaller show than it used to be: my feet are just as sore, my pockets as full of business cards, and my notepad just as full of cool products I’m looking forward to reviewing. Check out the gallery below for the best things I saw.
