One Direction -yhtyeen 3D-elokuva This Is Us tulee Suomessa elokuvateattereihin tämän viikon perjantaina 30. elokuuta. Bändin pojat nauttivat esilläolosta, ja tulevaisuudessa poppareiden orastava elokuvatähteys voikin saada jatkoa omalla televisiosarjalla.
Laulaja Louis Tomlinson jäi taannoin joukkuun BBC-kanavan Impractical Jokers -ohjelmaan ja onnistui vakuuttamaan muutkin pojat siitä, että heillä voisi olla tulevaisuus televisiossa. Poptähdet haluaisivat allekirjoittaa sopimuksen omasta sketsi- ja pilailuohjelmasta.

We're not lion, when we say Katy Perry bears quite a bit of her own hide in the illustrated poster for Roar's upcoming music video!
On Twitter today, KtP posted this hot-as-a-jungle promo for Roar's music video that'll be ready to watch on September 5th!
In the poster stylized like a 1930s adventure film billboard, Katy swings from a vine (wearing something similar to what she wore at the VMAs) with cast of animals in the background to rival the Lion King, including a crocodile, a monkey, two parrots, an elephant, and, of course, a tiger and a partridge in pear tree.
If you don't think Katy's truly a queen of the jungle, you're in de-Nile!
With a cool concept like this, just like an actual elephant, we'll remember, remember the 5th of September!

A un servidor no le convencen nada, nada los derroteros por los que empieza a ir esto de los mercenarios... Si bien la primera entrega fue una ocasión perdida la segunda remataba una faena impecable a golpe de humor chusco y toneladas de explosiones, puñetazos y puñetazos que creaban explosiones, todo centrado en aquel imbatible grupo de cachas de los ochenta. Sin embargo ahora, con la llegada de su tercera entrega la cosa pierde el norte y empiezan a caer algunos de los logros de la anterior (Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris), mientras que otros vejetes se añaden a la fiesta. Pero ya no es lo mismo. Mientras Steven Seagal siga diciendo que no, a mí me la sopla que alguien como Nicolas Cage o Antonio Banderas puedan apuntarse a la fiesta. O, el Diablo me lleve, Harrison Ford. Que vale, es nuestro Harrison Ford, pero la cosa no iba de eso.
Pero en fin, ahí está el viejo Indy, más viejo y menos Indy que nunca. Y para atestiguarlo, el bueno de Arnie ha colgado una foto en su cuenta de Instagram que es todo puraco a un lado y mono tres tallas por debajo de lo sensato al otro.
En medio, contento como el solo, Patrick Hughes, director del invento. En fin.

Crazy Days and Nights: Lindsay Lohan Hosting Season Opener Of ...
Apparently Lorne Michaels has a very short memory. He also knows that Saturday Night Live is going to struggle in the ratings this year because it will be featuring an almost all brand new cast with no big returning stars. I can't think of any other reason why Lorne would let Lindsay Lohan host another episode, especially a season opener. The only blessing will be that with an entire summer to write jokes, hopefully the writers can come up with something that Lindsay can memorize and not truly suck at. Perhaps skits where she is a mime with no voice and others where she doesn't say anything and is dressed in an animal costume. Perhaps she could play someone passed out a party and unable to speak or move because of how much booze they have consumed. These would all be ideal.
Think about how little Lindsay has done acting wise over the past few years and think about how hard it is for anyone to really get a shot at hosting SNL and she will get two opportunities in three years.

Crazy Days and Nights: Sean Kingston Sued For Gang Rape
Back in 2010, a 19 year old woman says that she was gang raped by Sean Kingston, his bodyguard and one of the members of his band after a Justin Bieber concert. The woman had attended the concert and says that she had smoked pot and had seven to ten shots of vodka before being invited at 3 am for a meet and greet with Sean at his hotel room in Seattle. When she arrived, she found Sean naked in bed and was lifted by his bodyguard and placed on top of Sean. She says that all three men took turns raping her.
The woman was rescued by a friend of hers and they called the police. Her injuries were consistent with rape, but police eventually dropped the case because they said the woman was not credible enough. She is suing all three men and wants $5M. Kingston says it was all consensual and that the woman wanted to have sex with all three of the men.

Demi Moore desperate to see Ashton Kutcher's Jobs - Firstpost
Los Angeles: Actress-producer Demi Moore reportedly wanted to secretly watch estranged husband Ashton Kutcher’s film JOBS.
The 50-year-old was said to be persuading showbiz friends for a private screening of the movie at her house.
“Demi’s scared to get caught going to see Ashton at the movies, that’s why she wants to view it in the privacy of her own home,” showbizspy.com quoted a source as saying.

“She’s even considered disguising herself and taking the plunge, but knows she’d be so embarrassed if she was caught watching it by anyone,” the source added.
Moore is said to be still obsessed with Kutcher.
“Demi knows there’s no chance of Ashton taking her back, but she just can’t seem to shake her obsession with him. She even taped all his TV appearances promoting ‘JOBS’ and just keeps watching them…over and over again,” the source said.
They ended their six-year-long marriage after Kutcher was caught cheating on Moore with other women in 2011. He is now in a relationship with actress Mila Kunis.

Crítica de Kiss of the Damned | La Casa de los Horrores
Parece como si tras la violenta vulgarización del género vampiro experimentada (de nuevo) recientemente, una serie de directores se hubieran visto obligados a recuperar el honor perdido sin mover las coordenadas tanto como para abandonar los terrenos del amor. Al fin y al cabo, al margen de postpúberes lúbricos con colmillos, las historias de chupasangres siempre se mantuvieron en un plano de romanticismo que articulaba los ítems amor/sexo/sangre/eternidad, de modo que no es raro que ese juego de lazos simbólicos siga estando presente en las dos versiones de Déjame entrar, en Byzantium, en la serie True Blood... o en esta Kiss of the Damned, segunda película de Xan Cassavetes (predestinada al cine: hija de John Cassavetes y Gena Rowlands, hermana de Nick) tras el estupendo documental Z Channel, una magnífica obsesión.
Con aquel comparte una poderosa nostalgia y un cariño por la producción cinematográfica marginal, puestos en este caso al servicio de la historia vampírica en cuestión, a medio camino entre el terror convencional y la historia de amor, centrada en una joven vampira (Joséphine de la Baume) que se enamora de un mortal (Milo Ventimiglia). Ella pronto convertirá a su amado, pero también deberá enfrentarse a la llegada de su hermana, otra chupasangres (Roxane Mesquida), que supondrá un auténtico terremoto en la relación con su nuevo novio. Poco más que una excusa argumental simple para, en el fondo, articular un sistema de guiños y una mirada cómplice al cine terrorífico europeo de los años 70 donde cabe un aire giallo, un cierto respeto por la obra de Jean Rollin y una estilización de algunos elementos de Jess Franco. Ambiciones claramente arty para una propuesta que uno no sabe muy bien cómo tomarse más allá de su coartada autoral.
Cierto, Cassavetes no teme derivar su discurso hacia un lugar pop, referencial y autoconsciente, de modo que hasta cierto punto se autoprotege de hacer el ridículo. Puede aducir que el pobre dibujo de sus personajes -interesante sólo en la contraposición de las dos hermanas-, que la atonalidad de su guión y la ausencia de auténticos picos climáticos (algunos hay, pero no están bien trabajados) obedece a una voluntad más sensorial que textual. Pero para salir invicto de semejante atrevimiento haría falta una claridad meridional en las intenciones y en la voluntad iconoclasta. Y lo cierto es que a ratos la guionista y realizadora impone una poderosa marca personal, un inequívoco halo autoral, pero en otros todo es dolorosamente plano, incapaz de salirse de sus propios márgenes, incoloro y convencional. Mientras que en los de más allá simplemente todo eso no importa nada porque el espectador parece no tener muy claro qué quiere decir o dejar de decir Cassavetes. Qué quiere homenajear o qué quiere transgredir. Qué pretende lograr y cómo espera emocionar. En el sistema de iconos y el universo simbólico que maneja la película algunos clichés parecen bien llevados, otros clichés son tratados como convenciones del género y otros, bueno, son simplemente clichés.
Así que medularmente, incapaz o desinteresada en ser radicalmente rompedora, Kiss of the Damned no da nada que no haya dado hasta ahora el género, nada que no haya inventado ya, por ejemplo, El ansia, de la que podría ser esta una especie de puesta al día si no fuera porque ya existe la mentada serie de Alan Ball para HBO. Simplemente es una nueva historia de amor sobrenatural más interesada en tender un puente transtemporal que una lo gótico, lo contemporáneo, lo clásico y lo retro mediante referencias estéticas y un uso de elementos dispares. Tan variopintos como el cine indie, como esa mención al amor eterno de Hedy Lamarr y Charles Boyer en Argel, como una banda sonora decididamente cool, o ramalazos de gore comercial, algún homenaje a sus padres (concretamente a Noche de estreno), menciones a las liturgias y jerarquías vampíricas a lo Anne Rice o un erotismo soft de novela romántica barata.
Ni menos ni más. No emociona pero no molesta. No es un patinazo, es una muestra de indefinición y no es un error, es falta de fuerza. Pero tiene humildad y una cierta elegancia outsider: enganche para futuras propuestas de la Cassavetes. Así que regular bien.

James Spader será Ultron en Los Vengadores 2 | La Casa de los ...
Por mucho que todos los medios se hagan eco de su presencia en Boston Legal (los más atrevidos recuerdan también su paso reciente por The Office, un servidor oye hablar de James Spader y enseguida lo asocia al doctor Daniel Jackson de Stargate: Puerta a las estrellas. Claro que luego, mis neuronas turcen hacia Crash, y del recuerdo de una película de infancia se pasa al trauma. Sea como sea, inolvidable personajillo de las divisiones inferiores hollywoodienses, que acaba de ser anunciado de manera oficial como Ultron, el villano de la esperada, esperadísima Los Vengadores: La era de Ultrón. De manera que nada de Paul Bettany, actor que en las últimas horas había sonado como candidato principal para dicho rol en vista de que es quien le pone la voz a JARVIS, robotico de Tony Stark y de todos sus trajes. La cosa era que, en vista de que Ant-Man no aparecerá en la película, se le atribuirá la creación de Ultron al propio Iron-Man, por lo que el rumor Bettany no carecía de sentido. Pero nada, Spader it is. Me vale.
